First Notion is not about poetry of a written word, but more about expressing our love for motorcycle engineering, creating caferacers, custom motorbikes and offering our customers a whole new experience on one of the greatest and most fun skills one can learn: enjoying the thrill of riding and owning a true classic one-off bike.
Be it a race bred 80-ties superbike, a modern classic caferacer or a head turning custom… You dream it, we make it.

Tony Foale’s chassis bible is never far away, a self-made Hossack frame is still somewhere in the workshop and vivid memories of times aboard a flying brick or bevelhead single are still frequently mesmerized during the build of a First Notion project.
Ordering a First Notion motorcycle can happen in two ways: you can buy a finished project bike and enjoy a well engineered build with excellent road handling and ditto looks, or you can decide to tell us your dream and we will make it happen. From the search of a donor bike, parts, custom high-end welding and machining to the final paintjob and initial setup of your dream bike.
… And the best thing? All our builds want one thing: they want to be ridden!
